Surgical Instrument Sets
BusinessMed® Surgical Instrument Sets bring together the instruments of one operation or one level of surgery in a single order, each with a contents list that names every instrument. Sets are grouped by specialty: general surgery, plastic and aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty, ENT, ophthalmic and neurosurgery.

How to choose a surgery instrument set
- Start from the procedure. Each surgery instruments set is built around one operation, and its name says which.
- Check the contents list. Every set page lists its instruments; compare it with your own count sheet. Piece counts are computed from that list.
- Basic or procedure set. Basic and minor sets cover common steps such as excision and closure; procedure sets add the instruments a specific operation needs.
- Add singles. Single instruments are in Plastic Surgery Instruments and Rhinoplasty Instruments.
Why order surgery sets instead of single instruments?
A set arrives as one order with one contents list, so the instruments for a case can be checked against that list on arrival and after each reprocessing cycle. Surgical kits built for one procedure also keep the instrument choice the same from case to case.
How BusinessMed surgery sets are made
The instruments in each set are German stainless steel, reusable and autoclavable, with a 5-year warranty; titanium instruments, coatings and any case are named on the set page.
